Written by Alice Suter, Ph.D., this book is an excellent reference for those conducting audiometric testing and hearing conservation programs. POCKET OTOSCOPE
Before you conduct a hearing test, the ear should be examined to identify problems that might interfere with the validity of the test or the use of hearing protection. The ENT Pocket Light (the same one we use in our course) is convenient to keep in your pocket and handy to use. It uses Welch-Allyn disposable specula. We highly recommend it for anyone who must conduct industrial hearing tests. $50

"Say What…?" CD or TAPE
This cd or audio cassette, including the Unfair Hearing Test, is the same one we use, in our hearing conservation course, to demonstrate how difficult it is to hear speech with a high frequency hearing loss. An audio demonstration such as this is particularly useful when conducting employee training programs, as required by OSHA, or as a learning tool for students, seniors, and workers, among other things. $25 cd, $20 tape
